This year we planted a garden from seed packets (except for the watermelons). We planted cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, carrots, lettuce, peas and watermelons. The kids have really enjoyed checking the garden everyday and helping to get the veggies out of it. Heidi enjoyed eating the carrots straight out of the ground and now will only eat peas if she knows they came from our garden. We also have an abundance of cucumbers which Heidi, Eric and I are enjoying and our watermelons are just about ready to be picked.
