Christmas Morning...

Look at the presents!!!!!

We had a wonderful Christmas morning with the kids and they played with all of their toys. They went from running around the house shooting at things to feeding the babies and then having a tea party.

Christmas Eve!

For Christmas Eve it was just Leif, Heidi, Eric and I. For once we had no where that we had to go and that was good because it was rainy and windy outside. So I whipped up a meal for us to eat by candle light and we admired the gingerbread house that we decorated. We then watched Christmas Vacation and read Christmas books before heading the kids off to bed.

Leif's Birthday!

For the day of Leif's birthday we went to COSI and went to the exhibit Seasame Street's 'The Body.' It was a great deal of fun and there was planty for the kids to do. Then we went and at at Cane's restaurant which we had never been before. It was really good. Then we went to the Tuttle Mall and Heidi used her gift card to Build a Bear and made "Kitty" and also got her a purse. The kids then got to go and play on the space shuttle and planets. Then we took a scenic route home through Bellefontaine where we stopped and ate at Leif's favorite Tumbleweed.

Christmas Cookies!!

Tonight we made Christmas Cookies. Leif and Heidi helped cut out and decorate the cookies. Leif enjoyed decorating and using the sprinkles. Heidi was licking as much as she was helping.

Winterfest!

We went to the Winterfest on Wednesday night to see Santa and his reindeer. There was a ton of people there and the line to see Santa was very long and it was cold outside, therefore, Eric and I were not too sad that the kids did not want to see Santa. Instead we had some chips, cookies, hot apple cider and hot chocolate and then walked back home after saying goodbye to Santa and his reindeer. It was nice to see soo many people out in the town.

Breakfast with Santa!

This morning we had breakfast with Santa. My children did not want to go near Santa to take a picture so I did not push the issue, we just looked at him from a few feet away. Some of the families did have their children screaming to try and get a picture with Santa. The kids had fun and Great-grandma Haynes came to be with them while I worked by taking pictures of the event and handing out door prizes.

The kids cheeks are nice and rosy because it was a hundred degrees in that little room.
